THE PROBLEM OF GENDER EQUALITY IN THE NOVEL "PRIDE AND PREJUDICE": SOCIO-ARTISTIC ANALYSIS

This article examines the problem of equality between women and men in the novel "Pride and Prejudice". The article analyzes the features of patriarchal society, the social status of women, their right to free thinking and choice. Using the image of Elizabeth Bennet as an example, the idea of gender equality is revealed.
